What happens when a journey you've been preparing for gets stopped out?
*Stunned mullet moment*
You could second guess God but He won't tell you what He's got up His sleeve - not just yet. That would spoil the fun. In all of this uncertainly, you can only trust that He has yet a better plan... He always does. He's responsible for writing our story. We can only do what's in front of us in obedience.
Proverbs 16:9 has forewarned us. So why do we tend to be surprised when things don't go 'OUR' way?
Has your preparation been an utter waste?
Not so.
You would've pushed yourself and have grown because of it.
You are better prepared - for the time when you're ready!
God knows when you're ready, and won't open doors that'll engulf you.
I thought I was going to be used by Him as an actor.
It has been prophesied; so I prepared myself.
But He saw my heart, the bits that aren't yet purified.
And He closed the door - until He knows what's in me - the Kingdom - is greater than the darkness I am called into. He loves me too much.
I've experienced His rod over the past months, and I wouldn't have it any other way. He guides me to greener pastures because He wants me to experience ALL that He has prepared for me - nothing less. I truly, whole-heartedly believe that, because sometimes plans that get stopped out (or put on hold) is revealed at a later time - and only better than the way I would've have organised / planned / envisaged it.
He is so much more creative and imaginative than I am :)
